Top right: I remember seeing this photo as a youngster and being told that it was Grandma (Helen Toevs Regier) drying her hair. Almost as long as I knew her she had long hair braided and rolled into a bun; it wasn't until the very last year or two that it was cut and permed, and I'm sure that was for ease of care in the nursing home.
